The Blog to End it All
After all, it seems
like Buttercup cannot be “satisfied” with only a little kiss. And there is even a philosophy of how to create
a baby. There is totally “nothing” wrong
with Westley and Buttercup to enjoy themselves while being stranded on an
island, with a psycho Prince named Humperdinck pursuing after their rear ends.
Again, Goldman has
done it again. He characterized
Buttercup as such a character without personality. What happens when Buttercup and her companions
are stuck in a whirl pool, and when Fizzik got shot, what did Buttercup do? Nothing.
“Oh, Mister Giant, save me.” How
about save yourself, think of a something.
Buttercup has a brain, she knows it; however, will she ever use it, I
think not.
Westley isn’t
exactly the most intelligent character either.
Who suggests having a baby in agreement to Buttercup? And who’ve failed to realize how ill his
princess is, and his daughter is? I
would not call Westley intelligent or even average smart. More like a moron, or an imbecile, and an
idiot.
Fizzik turns out to
be my favorite character of all. Who’ve
always thought of himself as an idiot, and being characterized as one? And of course he isn’t as stupid as he
thought. That turns out to be quiet
possible, proven by this novel. Fizzik
is not only a man with force, or a giant, but a man with heart. Fizzik is the only one who can save and saved
Wavery, Buttercup’s baby (she finally came out). Do any one else care about Wavery? Do anyone like that still exists other then
Fizzik?
